As a cat owner, we are often being tempted to share our food with our cats, and most of us will feel guilty while our lovely cats staring at our food. If you do indulge your cat, it is strongly advised you check out this list which contains some common foods which are either poisonous or have the potential to be dangerous to your cat. If you are in doubt, don't give it to your cat. It may save him a great deal of pain & suffering & you an expensive veterinarian bill.

This list contains common foods, but is by no means extensive, which are collected from some pet books, veterinarian advises, and internet.

	Abalone: Abalone liver will produce toxic ingredients after sun dried; it would cause rash, swollen ears or skin inflammation.
Alcohol: I guess nobody would actually try giving a cat alcohol. Alcohol can cause intoxication, gastrointestinal irritation, respiratory distress, coma & death.
	Avocado: Avocado contains a toxin known as persin. It is found in all parts of the avocado & is toxic to pets. The symptoms include gastrointestinal irritation, vomiting, diarrhea, respiratory distress, congestion, fluid accumulation around the tissues of the heart and even death.
Beans: Flatulence will be caused by feeding beans.
